Sep 30, 2026

Version 1.0 · Effective September 30, 2026

WakePix is operated by Clooms Tech (Boulder, Colorado, United States). This policy explains what is not allowed on WakePix, how we review content, how to report a problem, and what we do about violations. It is part of our Terms of Service.

1. Scope

This policy covers everything you provide to WakePix (photos, topics, lyrics) and everything WakePix generates for you (videos, audio and lyrics).

2. Content standards

2.1 Prohibited content (six categories)

You may not use WakePix to create, upload or share:

  1. Sexual or NSFW content. Nudity, pornography, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive material. WakePix does not allow adult content in any form.
  2. Violent or graphic content. Gore, graphic injury, threats, or content that glorifies violence or self-harm.
  3. Hate speech. Content that attacks or demeans people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar traits.
  4. Child-unsafe content (CSAM). Any sexual content involving minors, and any photo of a person under 18.
  5. Deepfakes and impersonation. Using someone's face, name or voice without their consent; content that pretends to be a real person, brand or organization; content that presents AI output as real footage.
  6. Copyright and trademark infringement. Content that copies protected characters, brands, logos, songs, lyrics, or the work of real artists.

2.2 Zero tolerance

We remove the content and close the account immediately, and report to the authorities where the law requires it, for:

  • child sexual abuse material or any sexual content involving minors;
  • content promoting terrorism, extremism or mass violence;
  • instructions for weapons capable of mass casualties;
  • content inciting genocide or ethnic hatred;
  • sexual deepfakes of real people made without their consent.

2.3 Restricted content

There is no restricted-content tier: adult content is not allowed on WakePix.

2.4 Other prohibited behavior

  • Uploading photos of people who have not agreed, of celebrities, politicians or other public figures, or of anyone under 18.
  • Misleading others into thinking a WakePix video is real footage, or removing its AI-generated disclosure when you share it.
  • Trying to bypass our safety systems, including jailbreak-style topics, or automating accounts to get around limits.
  • Reselling access, or using outputs to train competing AI systems.

3. How we moderate

WakePix uses several layers:

  • Automated checks on your input. Topics and lyrics are screened for profanity, hateful or violent language, sexual terms, links and contact details, and references to real artists, celebrities and public figures. Every uploaded photo is checked automatically before it can be used: an image safety service (SeeAPI) screens for nudity and sexual content, and an AI vision model screens for apparent minors, celebrity or public-figure portraits, graphic violence and hate symbols. Rejected photos are deleted straight away. Photos are also passed through the safety filter of our video provider.
  • Automated checks on output. Generated videos are produced with the provider's content safety filter switched on.
  • Usage monitoring. We limit how many videos an account can create at once and per day, and review unusual patterns.
  • Human review. Reported content and content flagged by our systems is reviewed by a person at Clooms Tech.
  • Periodic audits. At least once a month we review a random sample of generated content and the accuracy of our filters, and we improve the filter lists.

If a request is blocked, the credits are not charged. If a video cannot be delivered because of a safety issue, the credits are returned.

4. Reporting

You can report content or behavior that breaks this policy, including child-safety or terrorism concerns, or if you believe a WakePix video uses your face, name or work without your permission.

Reports are handled in confidence. We review every report objectively, and we record and act on reports that are clearly malicious or false. Please include the video link or task ID, what is wrong, and how to reach you.

5. Response times

A person at Clooms Tech reads the support mailbox. Times below are business days unless stated.

LevelExamplesFirst responseResolution
L1 CriticalChild safety, terrorism, non-consensual sexual deepfakeswithin 24 hourswithin 3 days
L2 HighSerious violations of section 2.1within 2 dayswithin 5 days
L3 MediumGeneral violationswithin 5 dayswithin 10 days
L4 LowMinor violationswithin 10 dayswithin 20 days

When we can see an L1 issue, we restrict access to the content right away and do not wait for the response time.

6. Enforcement

Depending on severity and history, we may: warn you and ask you to remove or change content; remove the content; reduce your usage limits or reset your credits; suspend your account pending review; permanently close your account; and report to law enforcement and cooperate with investigations. Paid credits may be forfeited for zero-tolerance violations.

7. Appeals

If you think we made a mistake, email support@wakepix.com with the subject "Appeal" within 30 days of our decision. A person who was not involved in the first decision reviews it and replies within 10 business days.

8. Changes

We will give at least 30 days' notice of material changes to this policy on this page or by email. The version number and date above show the current version.
