Diwali wishes video: at a glance
- A 12-second rapped Diwali greeting with four original lines, in English.
- Put names and one detail in the topic: sweets, new clothes, coming home, the office party.
- Two adults, or one adult in Solo. The festive part is in the words; the stage is a WakePix stage.
- Ready in about four minutes. One-time packs start at $9.90, and the credits never expire.
Who it is for
The family group chat, where a short clip of two cousins wishing everyone stands out from the usual images. The office group, where two colleagues can wish the team together. And family far away: when you cannot travel home, a verse with your names in it is a warmer hello than a text.
How to make it
Add a photo of each adult, or one photo of the two of you side by side. The Luxury Lobby stage is preselected for a bright, festive look. Type the names and the detail, press make and sign in when asked. Download the MP4 and share it wherever your family talks.
What to write in the topic
Pick one detail rather than five: “Riya and Arjun, first Diwali in the new flat”, “Mom’s kaju katli, still the best in town”, “Team Mumbai wishes Team Pune a bright Diwali”. The topic field takes up to 120 characters. The lyrics and vocals are in English, so write the topic in English; names work fine.
Respectful by design
WakePix writes a cheerful greeting about lights, sweets, family and new beginnings. It does not show deities or religious rituals, and it does not use Bollywood songs or any existing music; every clip has an original beat. Keep topics kind, because the word filter only catches listed words.
Good to know before you make it
Only adults who agreed to appear can be in the video; photos of children are rejected, so a clip with the whole family including kids is not possible. The stage does not add diyas or rangoli; add a festive caption when you post if you like.
